New Captain on Bike for Space Marines

Games Workshop has revealed a new Captain on Bike that looks set to become a regular sight on the tabletop.

This is not the first time we have seen a Space Marine officer on a Raider-pattern bike, but this new miniature arrives packed with detail and options that make it especially appealing both for collectors and for players looking for an agile command unit.

A Captain built to lead from the front

The new miniature comes with a bike covered in ornamental details, worthy of its rider’s rank, who also sports a flowing cape that gives it that heroic touch so characteristic of Space Marines. Although often associated with Chapters such as the White Scars or the Blood Angels, any Chapter can deploy this kind of officer for reconnaissance missions or hit-and-run attacks.

The kit lets you choose between a power sword, thunder hammer, or plasma pistol to arm your Captain, plus five head options and two poses for the bike. These are exactly the kind of details we always appreciate when we enjoy customising each miniature so it tells its own story.

On the tabletop, this Captain is built to lead Outriders, granting Cleave 1 after a charge to make short work of enemy hordes.

Our take

We like seeing Games Workshop keep backing command units with this much personality. We are also glad it arrives with so many customisation options, because it is precisely these details that make every Captain end up unique in each player’s display case.
